Terms of Use

1. Terms

By accessing this School, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use License

  1. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on the School’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
  2. modify or copy the materials;
  3. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  4. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the School’s web site;
  5. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
  6. transfer the materials to another person or 'mirror' the materials on any other server.
  7. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Company at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

3. Program-Specific Terms (Cycle Breakers Program)

3A. Not Therapy Disclaimer

The Cycle Breakers program, EQ School workshops, and all School offerings are educational and coaching-based, not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
Participation does not create a therapist–client relationship.
These programs are not appropriate for individuals in acute emotional crisis or requiring clinical mental health support.

Participants are encouraged to maintain their own therapeutic support outside the program.

3B. Confidentiality & Group Safety

To protect the safety of the group:

  • Participants agree to maintain the confidentiality of all personal stories, discussions, and identities shared by other members.
  • No screenshots, recordings, downloads, reposting, or re-sharing of any group content or Slack content is allowed.
  • Breaches of confidentiality may result in removal from the program without refund.

Participants agree to engage in group spaces with respect, compassion, and non-judgment. Harmful, abusive, or disruptive behavior may result in removal at the discretion of the facilitator.

3C. Intellectual Property

All curriculum, worksheets, frameworks, written content, class recordings, exercises, and program materials belong exclusively to The EQ School.

Participants may not:

  • copy
  • redistribute
  • teach
  • publish
  • share
  • or adapt these materials in any format

without explicit written permission.

3D. Refunds & Payment Terms

  • A $500 non-refundable deposit is included in all enrollments.
  • If you cancel 7 days or more before the program start date, you may receive a partial refund minus the $500 deposit.
  • If you cancel within 7 days of the start date, or after the program begins, no refunds are offered.
  • All sales are final once the program starts, regardless of attendance or participation.
  • For payment plans, the participant is responsible for completing all scheduled payments, even if they stop attending.

3E. Limited Capacity & Planning

Cycle Breakers is a small-cohort, high-touch program.
Because each spot is reserved for the full year, last-minute cancellations materially impact group dynamics, planning, and the ability to fill the space.

By enrolling, you agree that:

  • your enrollment reserves a limited seat for the entire duration
  • cancellations cannot be prorated
  • refunds cannot be offered after the start date
  • payment plan obligations continue regardless of participation

3F. Participation Expectations

By joining, participants agree to:

  • practice self-responsibility and self-awareness
  • refrain from giving unrequested advice
  • avoid judgment, harmful language, or disruptive behavior
  • engage with others respectfully
  • honor the boundaries of the container
  • maintain confidentiality at all times

Participants who do not uphold these agreements may be removed at the facilitator’s discretion.
